Email Extractor PRO (“the Plugin”) is a Google Sheets™ add-on that enables users to search and extract email data from their Gmail accounts. This policy outlines our commitment to your privacy.

2. Data Handling

  • No Data Storage: The Plugin does not store, transmit, or log any user emails, personal data, or extracted content on external servers.
  • Local Processing: All operations occur within Google’s secure environment (Apps Script) or your browser.
  • Data accessed by the Add-on : User e-mail address , user list of emails.
  • Data usage : the user e-mail is only used to manage license, e-mail data is only fetched by the add-on and is displayed in the user’s sheet , it is not processed or stored.
  • Sharing data : user data is not shared or accessed by any third party.
  • Data protection : SSL encryption is used whenever data is transferred .
  • Sensitive data : user data is transferred directly to the user’s sheets, it does not transit via any of our systems.
  • Deletion of data : user data does not transit , nor is stored in our systems.
  • Retention of data : user data is not retained.
  • Sale : user data is not shared with or sold to any third party.

3. Permissions Required

The Plugin uses the following Google API scopes strictly for functionality:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly: Search/read emails (no modifications).
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly: Interact with the active Google Sheet (if applicable).
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.storage: Store temporary user preferences (local to your script).
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui: Display the plugin interface.
  • `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.external_request**: Optional (e.g., for license validation via external APIs).

4. Third-Party Services

  • Google APIs: All data remains subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • License Checks: If enabled, anonymized tokens (no email content) may validate subscriptions.

5. Compliance

  • GDPR/CCPA: No personal data is collected or shared, exempting formal requests.
  • Transparency: Users control all data processed by the Plugin.

6. Changes to Policy

Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
